How much of her leg did they take? And how long before a prosthetic can be fitted?

She has about 6 inches below the knee left, they took as high as they needed to to remove the ankle pins. The skin fold over has to heal prior to getting a walking prosthetic. She currently has a contraption that holds the bandages in place.
