Wondered why it's taking me so long to shovel about 60 cu ft of dirt. Looked on the internet to see how much that should weigh, 4600 pounds if the dirt is dry. If my internet assisted calculations are in the ball park, I've only been doing 800-900 lbs a day. My knees are a little better today, surprised my back isn't wrecked. Yet. 40 years ago that would have been an afternoon's exercise, but that kind of physical condition is just a memory for me. This is the smallest yardwerk project this year, I've told Audrey to let you guys know if it kills me.

 

You don't expect us to shovel dirt in your grave? You have any idea how much that **** weighs?
