That said, I have been informed that Vancouver is red and Portland is blue. I was advised to not buy a home in Vancouver because it lacks diversity. I was thinking - "Well Vancouver it is!" I have no issues with skin color or country of origin. Hell.....I don't give a **** who or what anyone is sleeping with. But I can do without the daily freak show from neighbors or tent cities on the other side of my fence. No thanks.

Oh......and I was corrected - they are "houseless", not homeless. I'm sure that makes it better sleeping under a tarp in the rain.
Who advised you to that? Someone at the office?

I've only had 4-5 Mexican beers, Russ. Except for Modelo negro, they were all too sweet. I prefer a bitter, hoppy beer

Man, you got that right. Intolerance and hypocrisy.

I think they have a pretty good idea. I even said "I'm a traditional Conservative, but I honestly, I just don't enjoy talking politics". Not that I have to. I'm exactly the person the see when they close their eyes and think of a Republican.

The co-worker who's "partner" couldn't make it to the soccer game, so she invited me as a courtesy. Don't get me wrong, she's really nice and helpful. But people are funny in that they assume that their audience sees things the same way they do.

I've learned to observe long before speaking. Gives me time to determine who to offend and how

Ah ha! Awfully presumptuous of her.
Find a place in the least diverse, most waspy area you can find and invite her and her partner over for dinner.

I'm sure that's exactly what will happen! And the funny thing is, Cheryl is driving that decision. I was saying "Hmmmm, maybe we should consider living closer to town to get to experience the local color?" Cheryl was like "Not a chance. I'm not living in an area surrounded by green haired freaks with armpit hair."

Man, I'm bushed.
Headed over to Dad's house. First showing - private sale - "as-is".
A couple my age moving off the farm. Discussed price and they will think about it tonight.
They liked the house .....neither had any kind of Poker face while touring tonight ....lol.

Bob, what they see is not you, it’s who you represent. White, hetero, American males who aren’t bullied by their tactics. And it scares them.
