Slowly at best, Greg. I realize it's only been about 8 weeks but this is like watching paint dry.

Good evening all. Today I went for Mexican food after I got the truck washed. I went to a joint I had never patronized before and sat at the bar. They had all the beers they offered lined up on the bar. I spied Modelo Negra, which I assumed was a dark beer, and thought, why not? I had never tried one. The waitress finally asked me what I wanted to drink and I pointed right at the Modelo Negra and asked if it was a dark beer. She seemed slightly puzzled and I think she said, Modelo yes, and went to fetch it. She came back with a Modelo Especial which is not a dark beer and not one in the line up of offerings on display. I drank it anyway. I have to admit that it was a great tasting beer. I finally realized she only spoke "waitress English" and had no idea what I asked when I inquired if it was a dark beer. When she came to ask if I wanted another beer I said, Si, Modelo Negra por favor. This time I get the dark version. I did not like it as well as the Especial. So now I know.

Beautiful at night. We didn't do a lot of nightwork with the Hueys, but had an AC47 "Puff" giving support on an LZ one night, Wow!

Maybe not in bikinis, though.

I don't think anyone would want to sit in the cabin.... seems the previous "caretaker" had it and the raccoons, mice, and squirrels made their way inside and tore things up! They are talking about painting the inside of the canopy windows dark and let it go. As far as the outside, they are going back and forth on what to do. Some say repaint, some say clean and polish, some say leave as is.... I just keep my mouth shut!! I do want to get some sort of small orange or red "cone" to place in the rocket launcher holes though.... I think some might think we're trying to raise hell!!!
