'Mornin', Greg, Mick...spent most of yesterday grinding rust off 50' of iron railing and then did something that I've never done in my life. I HIRED SOMEONE TO PAINT IT !! I like to paint but I realized giving this railing a primer and finish coat would not be any fun. Took a walk up the street to a buddy who's a painting contractor and told him " Send somebody down to paint the railings and give me a bill." I'd rather go up the lake and paint a bedroom which I'll enjoy doing.....I must be getting older or smarter or both...

Good morning all. Nice humps Greg. I am glad to report that the individual that took the exam last Saturday has passed with flying colors so it was not a waste of my time. Several years back I gave the same guy an exam in a different discipline and it took three Saturdays to get it done. I am down at the St Pete office today and it should be a quiet day. I have no one coming in for an exam and I am pretty caught up on my work. After the 2:30 project meeting I will head home for the long weekend. Everyone ride safe.

Al, I just plain hate painting. I'm glad I have a son-in-law who worked many summers at a paint store.... wifey pays him handsomely to paint when needed. Should have a fairly nice day until afternoon...then the rain comes. Glad I got the lawn mowed. But it was long long long and I got all the clippings laying on top. Should have also went crossways and tried to cut clippings up more. Oh well.... Didn't do too bad....foot was nice and tender when I got done. I'm kinda wishing it was later in the year so I could get those bones fused and be done with this. But don't want to ruin any bike rides for the summer.
