Amazing pic Russ. When I was riding along the river last night Mt Hood popped into view. As a flat lander it was quite an experience to see that. I've spent a lot of time in Colorado and the view from Denver looking west is always awe-inspiring. But there's something different about a single, massive peak very nearby.

Last time I saw Mt. Hood it was in the 90s and still snow covered cap

First of all, taking a ride is always a good idea. Always!

As far enhancing my calm, nothing can be said to do that, but knowing you care is the best medicine anyone can ask for.
