G'Afternoon, Woods..visit with cardiologist this morning to get clearance for aneurysm surgery. Everything is fine with my heart BUT she wants a stress test and echocardiogram before she'll clear me for surgery....what bullshit!.... Waiting to check out and get that appointment and I'm told the soonest it could be scheduled is sometime in June ! That means that by the time I get cleared and surgery on aneurysm scheduled it'll be mid summer and screw up my whole summer!!! I thought " Unacceptable, time to make a phone call when I get home". I'm standing there and the cardiologist comes out and says "I spoke with the Doctor ( she didn't say who but I have a feeling it was my vascular surgeon because the two departments share the same wing) and he doesn't see the need for the stress test for clearance, the surgery is more important. Can get a stress test later so you're cleared"....WHEW!

My wife then took me for breakfast.... and even paid...

 

voila! One stress test!!
