Well gents, new garage door opener was picked up and installed. Used posi-tap connectors and connected wires. Then reset the old receiver and got that ready. Had wifey come out to turn switch on and then cycle hi-low beams. I showed her what to do, then climbed the step ladder to hit the reset switch while she toggled ignition and hi/low beams. For some reason the damned bike would not turn on! It would with me doing it, but not her when I was on the ladder. So she said she was cold and went back inside. I double checked instructions, and then it dawned on me I had the fob on my belt and it was too far away to let the bike turn on. So I went back inside and asked her really nice if she would come back out and help. Laid the fob on the seat and went through the routine again. This time things worked! And now I just hit the high beam to open garage! I'm happy! One less thing to do on the bike! Next is to clean well and install the plastic paint protector film I bought. But it needs be warmer for that.

That’s pretty cool sparty. Light beam sensitivity.
I hope lightening doesn’t get it to work.

I went from a 8.5” to a 10.5”. I was more concerned with trying to keep the damn bugs from smacking me in between the eyes! The wife says there is no buffeting in the back and I don’t notice any up front. Hope it works out for you too!
