I know that feeling first hand. Kristi even mentioned it when we stayed there.

As you know I am not a religious guy. I will share this because indeed, it may be part of this.
I found one old bank statement they missed. The bank was in a town about 15 miles from here. When I took my brother to the Springfield VA facility to get him enrolled I passed a branch of that bank.
I took a chance and stopped. Went in, asked to speak to branch manager. We went to his office and I produced the old statement and explained what I needed.
He said no problem their computer system was connected to all branches. We discovered there was a debit card in existence but my brother didn't have it. Guy pushed a button and voila, no more card.
After about 20 minutes the guy asks my brother...did you ever work at Walmart? (He did 25 years there after military). My brother said yes. The branch manager says...I thought you looked familiar, we worked together at store # (I don't recall) when I was a kid.
Tells me he will be happy to give me 24 months of statements, check images, debit card transaction details, etc. Turns out there was about $24k gone but there was $1900 left.
My brother's SS and Navy retirement are direct deposited. Guy says....let me get him a check for all that's left, leave $1 so the account doesn't close and while you are transferring the direct deposits I will put a freeze on the account so no one can touch it.
All at a branch I passed by chance.
