Evenin, Woods. Due to additional discovery I will henceforth discontinue use of the term 'helpful neighbors' in reference to my brother's situation. Moving forward they will be identified as Mr and Mrs Weaselbastard.
What would you think of someone who arranged for a life insurance policy to be put in force with them listed as the beneficiary after telling the agent the insured had no living relatives.

Mick, perhaps a call to the Sheriff's department is in order. They may not be able to charge them but they could go by and have a talk with them about being the scum of the earth. And if charges are possible throw the book at them.
