Thanks Larry. It is daunting. The logistics alone take a lot of planning. And then there's of factors I never thought of. I found out I even have to let Wisconsin know I'm moving and make sure the let me off the hook for state income tax. Apparently they're unusually greedy in that regard. If you have a car registered and a conceal carry permit, they consider you a resident and have to pay taxes. I'm selling the truck once I get to WA anyway. And getting the permit in WA is apparently pretty easy. But Oregon, where I'll be working a lot, has more stringent requirements. They might not even allow non-residents to have them. I have to dig deeper on that.

Hah! She would sooner light a Croc on fire than sell them. She's determined to bring some class to the area. we'll see.

Looks like home prices are dropping a tiny bit everywhere. Good luck Bob. One reason I don't live where I work. It's nice here without feeling like a liberal hell hole. Used to be houses outside the city's we're 1/4 the price. We are a may issue county but a lot of hoops and $300+ to get a CCW.

I suppose you saw the thread about the Portland lady being removed from a flight for harassing a kid in a Trump shirt. Your new neighbors seem lovely.

Lol...I saw that a long time ago. That one has been circulating for a while. But she does check all the boxes. I could almost spend the Patchouli.

Rest assured, I could find her twin sisters in Milwaukee or Madison. We've got plenty of that in our cities. Out here away from it all, not so much. I'm hoping the outskirts in Vancouver are similar. we'll see. Either way, I keep to myself. I don't put bumper stickers on my car or signs on my lawn. How I vote is my business.
