Audrey and family drove through to Austin the first day, then spent a day in a hotel. One of her favorite ways of relaxing, watching the Austin skyline from the rooftop pool.

Look at the crowd at South Padre Island, although I hate crowds I think I could have endured this. Granddaughter sure enjoyed it.

In front of the launch/landing tower this morning. She just sent a low res photo for this one.

Rocketship parking lot, with one of the big boosters.

Only a few piles from snowplows left here. Muddy and dead looking, huge improvement.

Re-evening Woodsnitzes. Mike, Audrey should be happy that she is south of Ft. Hood which currently has a 10,000 acre, uncontrolled, fire raging. We are getting the smoke and ashes up here in Ft. Worth with the high winds.

I hope the rain we are supposed to get materializes on Tuesday-Wednesday.

Smoke sucks. I've ridden a lot of those Ft. Hood acres on a Honda 305 Super Hawk, was blindfolded and then dropped off somewhere in it at night and told to find a spot marked on a map we were given, and came within a few feet of a head on collision between the Huey I was in and an M60 tank. Fun place for big boys to play.

I wonder if that could go as fast as that 110mpg Honda I thought about buying. 45 would be enough for most errands. Can it do 20 miles on a charge?
