Ride report on the LRS Recurve windshield-
2 mehs. Even though it is an inch taller than the Klockwerks windscreen at 10”, it seems to do about the same or maybe a tad better. The buffeting out toward the left and right edges seems to have increased. It looks like a big *** billboard, and I’ll probably get a 10” Klockwerks to replace it with if my findings remain consistent.

This is one of those cases Larry where size isn’t always everything.

Learned this on dirt bikes when I was much, much younger and more supple than I am now. That would be tough to do with a pax.
You can react that fast?
I be like "Hang on and pray!" LOL

Had a bad experience with LRS as a company some years ago and will never go back. When I compare them to my superior (imo) Klocks today, there's no comparison.

My skills have diminished since the 2 surgeries. My youth on dirt bikes has saved me a couple of times

Stan, you have very little time to fix it if you can, you either do it or you don’t. I did it so much riding dirt bikes I know exactly what it feels like and I also know what that get off feels like too! The latter I don’t want to repeat again. On a dirt bike you could drag that lower foot, kick in some more gas and loop it around but alas, doing that on the street with a 1K pig ain’t gonna happen.

You warned me about LRS and their plastic policy. I’ve had good luck with their RK windscreens but I believe the company has changed hands within the last 3 years. Not gonna bitch, it is an improvement in function, barely, but a huge step back in appearance IMO.

Seriously I have no doubt you can do it with an automated reflex as you describe, to your experience and credit Russ.
I'm sure the LRS is a fine product today ...but I don't miss the full-wrap-sides windshield reminiscent of a Clipper Ship main sail.
Speaking of sails...... it's windier than the North Pole here today.

Quality wise, it’s a fine product, minimal distortion, just ugly.

We finally have a calm day which seems to be the exception rather than the norm. Still weighing riding considerations for next week. The weather guessers are calling for rain from south Texas through Oklahoma.

Give my best to your pop when you see him!
