Evening gents! Helluva day. Spent much of it dealing with ATT. Our wireless account got hacked back in December. We called them and told them we will never have more than 2 lines, and never buy a phone from them - stop adding lines and selling us phones. Fast forward to today - twelve Iphone 13 pros and 8 lines have been added since November despite numerous calls to ATT. I **** you not, we have spent 20 hours on the phone with them. And they are out over 10 grand in phones. Finally had enough and closed the account, But we couldn't just close it because the hackers kept reopening it. So we just stopped paying the bill until it got shut off. Un-frickin0believable.
So now we have new phone numbers, which is okay seeing as we're moving. But Jesus.

Like I said in my rant in OT, it's not a problem until there's a problem. They were great for 7 years. Well......not great, but adequate at least. But once you get hacked, and it's happening more and more, they have no way of stopping it. Even when you call and tell them specifically what is happening and how to stop it, they do absolutely nothing to stop it. If I didn't know better, I would say it's an inside thing. Because once we contacted the "Fraud Department", or should I say they contacted us after trying to call them for days, I spoke with a woman who had a baby crying, dogs barking in the street, and car alarms going off. And no, she did not speak English very well. It sounded like I was ordering takeout from Tijuana. Oddly enough right after she "resolved" my problem, it got exponentially worse.
All I can tell you is, tell them to limit your credit. Unfortunately my carefully cultivated creditworthiness allowed someone to buy over 10 grand in phones.
