Afternoon Woodsnitzes. Busy morning, picked paint colors, haircut, met with contractor to install lights at our HOA park to dampen some of the children's sexual ardour at night, got Chick-Fil-A breakfast sammich and made an emergency run to Bed, Bath and Beyond to pick up a new steamer mop because the old one gave up the ghost. Is it time for cocktails yet?

 

Welp wallet is a little lighter today. I just ordered a new pair of boots. Decided to try a pair of Nicks boots. Similar to Whites. Looks like they will be ready in August. 20 something years wearing Whites. That only accounts for 4 pair of boots.

They have been going up over the years. My first pair back in the late 90's was $345. My Whites are the same price. If I get 6 years out of them thats only $100 a year. So cheaper than crappy boots.

I hear ya Russ. I do about 14,000 steps a day on concrete and these things are the most comfortable boot ive ever owned.

 

I checked them out. They only have mens shoes in smaller sizes.
