Yes, it will burn great. I think all the wood l’ve been buying in Florida has been red oak from dead oak trees.

If I had my own portable saw mill, it would have been nice to make some boards.

Well that stinks, Chuck.
Do you have an "arts" area there in TC? Maybe find a wood carver there that would have the means to slab the trees or something.

Everyone here prefers to barbecue with red oak Chuck.

This is the panel on the inside where my grandpa road is name. Pretty cool to have that in the box. Also have the remnants of a shotgun blast where the piano stopped most of the pellets. That was a fun night for a 4-year-old.
