My day just got better. They may not have fired me but I am officially done anyway. Secured the new job and it's official. I start April 1st. While Portland may not be ideal to some, I think we'll really enjoy the area. It's definitely scenic. And I know I'll like the job. Not to mention it pays a lot more. So we are very excited for this new chapter in our lives.
Congrats , Bob.....

Ha! Thanks Mick!

Gotta say, the KEH website was dangerous. I found the camera I wanted and a lens for $600 less than it would have cost anywhere else. I didn't buy it though. I'll continue to save. But dang what it tempting...

(Chris is feigning indifference to the current crisis.)

Hey Chris... don't know if I asked this before or not, but I got a Nikon 35mm with couple of lenses.... a zoom, and one or two others. Have not used this in many years. Know anyone who might be interested in buying an antique???? If I remember, I got this new back in 1988 or 89 when MSU went to the Rose Bowl.

correction... it is a Canon .... T70 I believe, I can check if there is any interest with anyone.

Thanks for the good words gents!

That is a pretty bike John.

On Slingshots, worst rider I ever knew finally ended up with one. The dude drop his bike damn near every week. He rolled up in the Slingshot and I congratulated him on having the courage to come out of the closet like that. He was not amused.

Film is still a fantastic medium! I don't have a dark room, but there are some really cool DIY post processing for film. It's super cool, but for what I do, digital makes life so much easier. I don't know many other photographers but I'll ask them and see if they would be interested.

I looked up the camera. Super cool vintage piece, but not worth much at all. Put it on a shelf as a decoration.
