Hi Folks,
Sorry had to duck out for an hour to Zoom in on our church's annual meeting. They tell me my vote is important.
Mick, Dad is still on his own, with PT and nursing visits several times a week, but marginal at best. He'll be home until he falls again. Focus is actually on his water weight right now as his congestive heart failure slowly gains more traction. Thanks for asking and I'll pass the greetings on.
Bob, I'll likely hold on where I'm at for about 2 more years. Once I hit 65 and Medicare, I can probably afford to semi-retire, but I'll always be doing something. I look forward to hearing the "Adventures Of Bob And Cheryl" as you take on this new transition out west.

Light fluffy snow right now. The lady next door is having roof replaced today. Low 20's, light snow, gotta be a toughie for the crew!
They usually wait for rain to do roofs here.

Like that here, too, one of the worst winters I've seen for that. Road work isn't close to keeping up with roads falling apart. The heaves often do go down a lot when it warms, hope so, some roads even feel rough in the pickup that didn't last summer. Glad I'm not going anywhere in Carol's car, that Honda Accord proudly announces every little bump on the road. Back when I had a Lincoln Towncar the roads were like new, guess about the time it got retired they quit keeping up with road repair.

Hope this works out good for you Bob. I was downright anxious to get out of my job 3 or 4 years before I did, but that close to retirement I didn't have any other decent options. Last 3 years was in a room by myself, seldom seeing any suits, that really helped. Job itself wasn't bad, just, you know, management... It's going to feel good when you get those people out of your life, hope there aren't any like that in the new life.

Mornin, Woods. Another day of freezing rain. Would have slept better but American Airlines robocalled at both 1 and 2AM to let us know our flights were cancelled.

Morning, Woodys!

That sucks, Mick. WTF?
Do you have any reasonable options?
