Great article Mick. A musician friend of mine always wanted to make it in the music business. He said he was tired of playing the same old covers. I told him that if he "made it" he would be playing the same songs for the rest of his life. It's funny in that there are songs when I am thinking about it or talking about it, I would say I wish I never had to do that song again. Mustang Sally comes to mind. However, when on stage and the crowd is dancing and into the song with enthusiasm it all seems just fine. I imagine Mick feels the same way when they pluck the first note of Satisfaction and 10,000 fans go nuts.

Never speak ill of Mustang Sally again, Jeff, or we may have to reevaluate our friendship.

Spoke with a local vintner not long ago who said that is becoming more prevalent and will eventually be the norm. Less costly and proven to not alter the wine....Cork Snobs die hard.

Morning all.

Yes Mick twist off's are more common but mostly synthetic corks here. Just heard we now have over 400 wineries. It was less than 100 when I was a kid.

They knew you'd turn 21 eventually.
