I was behind a BMW sport touring bike this evening when I went to pick up dinner. Couldn't say which model, had turn signals in the bags, and quad exhaust tips. Noisy for a Beemer. Got a side view and it reminded me of a Yamaha FJR1300.

Yes, stiction is the age old problem of telescoping forks.

The K1600 B Series had a similar set-up, but not identical. It was good suspension and adjustable from the cockpit.
