Seems employment woes are the thing these days. My situation keeps getting more bleak at the current employer. It's starting to look like the Scottsdale option isn't going to work. Not sustainable under my current situation. The Portland opportunity is still in discussions but taking too long. I'm going to tell them to make an offer or lose me. I did have someone I know from way back, from the same company, call to tell me that the local PM is retiring and he would love to have me join the team. Wisconsin.

Cheryl was not pleased and I'm not super stoked about it either. But it's a great place to work and it would sure make my life easier. It would also be a massive improvement in all ways over what I'm doing now. At this stage of the game I need to choose something that will last for 10 more years. It may very well be right here.
