Had the first complaint from my neighbors in my drone flying careeer tonight. My homeschooler neighbor who is predisposed to paranoia sent me a text that he had seen me overfly his property and I replied with a link to FAA guidance that states homeowners do not control the airspace over their homes and as long as it is not being used for warrantless surveillance there is nothing they can do about it.
Knowing this, I have usually avoided flying over this guys house (he is southeast of us and we share a corner) but today I was in a transitional flight mode of forward motion and gaining altitude so I may have overflown his yard. My response was to send him an explanation and attached the FAA rules. He’s probably not happy and I don’t care.
I love my neighbors!
Drama for snow day!

Normally, I climb to an altitude in my yard of 200’ before cruising around but I was lazy today and was flying low altitude for climb outs. Oh well…f’em. Dude had a shitty yard and probably leaves his shopping cart in the parking lot.
Evenin Woods! Another day, another headache. The replacement laptop took a **** while install updates. *sigh* I get /ot for weekends but damnit man.....this is a pain in the ***

Dont have one here. The HOA is at house #1 and they adhere to FAA rules there too.
Lemme guess, Intel processor?
