They didn't have an option.....forced to work.or take a day citing unsafe conditions...
We were iced in for a little while. I finally made it in to shuffle. Quick check in then I have thing to do here. In a while, it will be retrieving vehicles that are stuck.
no ice here yet......they were expecting 10 am at the latest....guess mother nature didn't get the message.....
ready for a nap....no ice storm here...thanks for the day off boss........idiots.

No snow here. At least no more snow fall. Cold and ground covered with over 13" of snow.
Had memorial service today for a Vet. Went extremely well. Was not freezing, sun was out on our backs and no wind. So our tour went well and as expected.
Cold out still....through the weekend. So I'll take it easy.

The Interstate that runs through got shut down with rigs jackknifing into each other last night. There are still stranded vehicles all over, some our patrol units, other stranded motorists that had to walk out. Our TxDOT here are not prepared for this and the roads were not ready.
