It is. And I'll take it.
I'll bet you'd like to say good morning to Rob, too.
Morning, Lou, Tim, Rob, and Bob!

Good morning all. The cold weather is moving in so I have been out collecting kindling and bringing some firewood in off the rack on the back porch. With these large oak trees and wind there are always plenty of small dead branches laying around this time of year that make nice fire starters along with the fodder from my document shredder. I anticipate a fire in the fireplace starting tonight and on through the weekend. It rarely gets in the 20's but that is what they are calling for. I think I will make a batch of chili and kick back. We will probably watch a lot of movies and episodes of Case Histories.
Something I have not disclosed but I have the FXR sold. A long time friend of mine wants it and after much deliberation I have decided to let it go. I always said I would never get rid of it. I have had it since 1986. I bought it for $5000 and it had 1100 miles on the odometer. It has been a great motorcycle and gone through several make overs and top ends. It runs strong but does tend to leak. The oil lines can be jam up but in no time there will be a leak and it gets worse until I or someone else redoes everything again. Nature of the beast and never really bothered me. I will still have my Springer, Road King and of course the Indian Chief Darkhorse but nothing with a carburetor. I understand a carburetor and throttle cable, EFI and fly by wire is voodoo to me. That said I rarely do anything to my own bikes any longer except clean them or change a battery. Even battery changes are getting to be a pain in the ****..
