Marcus.... not bad!!! If my old supervisor did mine, he would give me so-so marks, tell me I have a bad attitude, don't play well with management, but I know my job and am one of the more competent buyers. I just could not be a yes man, and always told whomever the proper, correct procedure to do things. They did not like being told to redo the incorrect things! Sometimes I wish I was still working as I really enjoyed proving others wrong!!!
But good on you.... You are a good man!!!

Something to look for when checking out automatic, dual clutch (might as well say automatic) or CTV/variable belt drive bikes is the left handgrip, if there's a lever there, it's for the rear brake. Lot of them have linked brakes, but you still won't be able to max out the rear brake. My Honda Helix has a rear foot brake but my Honda Silverwing uses a left hand lever, and even though it has linked brakes, it will get more stopping power using the lever, too. Your ideal bike would be a Honda Goldwing DCT (dual clutch transmission) if a right side foot brake could be rigged. If someone makes a trike kit for it, haven't seen one. Probably be awful heavy handling with a sidecar, won't be any triple tree angle changing with their front end.

There are trike kits for the Honda and Yamaha maxi scooters, the ones over 500cc are pretty quick and capable of triple digits on two wheels. You'd have to go with linked brakes on those, have left brake levers. Don't scoff at scooters, some of them would easily keep up with the Woods in the black Hills or Arkansas, very nimble and the lower center of gravity makes them easier to balance at slow speeds and stops, something to consider with a problem leg. Wish we were closer so you could try my Honda Silverwing scoot sidecar rig, compared to my Harley rig next to it, it's a sports car next to a UPS delivery truck. Very light steering, too, unusual with a sidecar. If only the previous woman owner hadn't painted those graphics on it...
