Howdy Wooders.
What I understood to be a fall was Dad sliding off the edge of the bed while trying to get in/out. His regular King like many beds today, at least waist high and maybe slightly higher. He checked out fine at the hospital and they released him this afternoon. Looked at his bed and there was enough tolerance in the bed structure to remove the bed frame and set the box spring right on the floor, with the mattress on top, while leaving the side rails and head/foot boards in place. Dropped it 8" and we spent some time practicing getting in and out. So, he's happy as a kid at Christmas back at home and one more hole in the dike plugged. LOL.
