Chris...sometimes a nice windscreen can remove enough air pushing on the chest to make rides more comfortable. And they can be a removeable screen.
G'Afternoon, Woods......been shopping for a new snowblower. The big green machine couldn't cut it with 5" of heavy wet snow this week plus the electric motor on the chute crapped out. Turned out to be REAL work for me. I can't find the one I want in NE PA. How come these things only break in the winter ?
Okay Russ, using my investigative skills, I found that she posted that comment on Facebook. That's where the info came from. I didn't say it here and she didn't say it to me. I'll take her out again and see if it changes. A lot of that I think was fighting the wind. She's never ridden like that before and certainly, not at that speed for any length of time. She's done other rides and never said it was an issue.
I will definitely talk to her and see if that's something she'd consider. She's made it very clear, it's her bike, I don't touch it. Unless she wants me to fix it when she breaks it. That's a raw deal...

Because it would be silly to use them in the Summer?

Raining like the old testament here. Supposed to get down to 19 tonight. Tomorrow should be interesting
Nailed it.
Nailed it.
Nailed it.
But I have to look at the positives. I work from home and the truth is, my typical day is maybe 4 hours of effort. Sure, next week when I travel I'll put in a 16 - 18 hour day. But that's just driving, which other than the Chicago section, relaxes me. Don't tell anyone but I may drive the kid's Pius to save on gas and keep the miles down on the truck. Maybe.
