Great Job Greg!!! Just one question....couldn't you find a piece of steel that wasn't full of holes?! They distract from your work!
OK...kidding! Looks great!!! Great job on the drilling...nice symetrical look!

1/2" diameter 303 stainless steel. Pretty easy to work with.
If ya know what you're doing.
I suppose.
Not to get too techy, but 304 stainless would've been a better choice for the environment it will live in but it is a real PITA to work with, even something as simple as this.
304 is a stronger material that is used in the food and aerospace industries because of its high chrome and nickel content.

Actually quite a few. Grandkids once every week, with a second, usually on short notice, occasionally. Seems more like every 3 days, time passes too fast when you're enjoying it. I once read that if you want it to seem like you're living forever, just get a really boring job. When Carol often came over 3 and sometimes 4 days a week, seemed like I didn't get much time to myself, but she timed it so she'd be here with the kids, too. Hasn't done that in two years, way things are going might be another two. That's ok, I like my alone time, too. I'll just be glad when those two boys can use a toilet.

I like, doesn't look like a thousand other ones, either. Bet you could sell them for $79. Wood that make you more than $1.40/hr?

I had a smart assed remark, but decided to be nice and not use it! At the manufacturing plants I worked at, they used a coolant with some type of additive to it. Keeps tools cool and flushes heat and debris away. But.... I'll let Greg answer that one!!
Just this old man is gonna head to bed shortly.... kids be over in the morning, got pick up to make, and meet my riding buds for a beer and grits tomorrow afternoon/evening. Lurker out.....
