Bob, for lack of anything better to do today, I’m going out to test ride a Triumph Tiger. I have to admit, the Pan America piqued my interest in dual purpose machines but I haven’t ridden an enduro (what us old folks call an adventure bike) since I had a Yamaha DT 250 when I was a young, young man. I want to see if the riding position is even close to comfortable with my knees.

No I haven’t because there are other manufacturers who are so much further down the road than HD. I looked at them in the dealership and to be honest, all I saw was a money pit of upgrades.

It might be time to trade in the old King…..

I believe the basis for that was not so much the performance of the machine but recognizing the departure from their old ways.
