Sheriff asked why he hadn't seen the bike in a couple days. I had my truck yesterday so I could deploy from it if needed. My unit has been down and in and out of the shop for the past several weeks. Between the starter failing, the battery dying and the transmission going out, it's not been very reliable. My boss got on me about being on the bike for work. Some bullshit about, what if you get hurt. If I get hurt, he can't do my job anyway, so that would be the least of his worries at that point.
Boss - "You can't keep taking your motorcycle to crime scenes."
Me - "I don't. That was the first time."
Boss - "Well it better not happen again."
Me - "Then get me the equipment to do my job." He stares at me and I leave.
