Afternoon, guys.
Back from getting my new iPhone set up, and snowblowing two neighbor's walks and driveways. CDOT still nowhere to be found.
Chris, you never went to any underage parties when you were a kid?

Should be ashamed to admit this, but the grandsons never captured my heart like the girl did. Does. Reminds me of her Mom, the boys don't.

The car has done remarkably well the previous 3 winters including some real heavy snows. Last night with everyone all spun out indicates it wasn't just me. CDOT is incredibly incompetent, they knew this storm had becoming for a week. I'm also sure that people driving too slow contributed to the problem.
Blizzak snow tires would make it easy for you, but they don't do a thing for those other slip and sliders other than help you miss them sometimes. Saved me from hitting a few. Sometimes the all seasons felt like the car was just coasting, barely any slowing. Expensive to get 4 of those tires on another set of rims now, would be well over a thousand for my truck. I just try not to drive it unless the roads are pretty much cleared off, gives me an excuse to stay home in bad weather. If I was still commuting daily, I wouldn't hesitate to get the Blizzaks. I got Audrey a set for the first car she bought after college, after she got stuck a couple times. Never had a problem getting through anything after that. The all seasons wouldn't even get up her driveway several times. Those things should be called no seasons, not the best for anything, just a compromise.
