Seriously, at least try the Freedom Shield wide touring if the LRS doesn't work out. I had a LRS and sent it back because I didn't like it. The FSWT was immediately beneficial. It's much thicker than the whippy LRS so it has crystal clear clarity - no distortion or shake.
I’ll give it a whirl if it doesn’t look like a billboard stuck up on top. I really like the Klockwerks, but since LRS was so cheap, why not?

Looks are subjective. I personally thought it looked really good. Having the wider windshield made it look more part of the batwing design than the tombstone sticking up in the middle. It does stand more upright than most windshields though.




Obviously, you have seen my bike in person. But the pics give a visual. Unfortunately, I do not have a shot of the bike from the front. I got the 9 inch, which was plenty tall. When I used my high seat with the Airhawk I was looking well over the shield and the wind hit the very top of my of helmet. With my low seat and the beanie helmet I was in completely still air and could see over the windshield still. I probably could have done the 8 inch, but the 9 covered all aspects - two up to solo.
