Afternoon gents! Busy pre-parties efforts here at Chez Bob&Cheryl.

Pro tip #1 - Always be prepared for dumbass party guests spilling **** on your rugs and couches -

Pro tip #2 - Supervision is key!

HD take offs for $1200 PLUS your rims?? No effen way I would take that deal. I get a set of tires mounted and balanced for under $600 every time. I had a set of wheels powder coated for $200. And do you really need bearings already? The bike is still under warranty and if they are bad, they should be covered, unless I missed something.

I actually liked the stock wheels on my bike enough to keep them. It's not like I wasn't willing to dump money into the thing. I just didn't see the need.

I think Chris just likes spending money Bob, it seems to burn a hole in his pocket .

of course I have my own problems with this, if only Harley would have built these damn things right in the first place

I must have misread what Chris said. I thought it was $1,200 OR trade the guy his wheels. I'm with you, Bob. several years ago, I bought set of new take off Deluxe smooth rims , white wall tires, rotors and bearings for the Heritage for $500 and $100 shipping. That was a steal.

I need to check the date(s). On my tires. Over 6 years and they will be replaced. No dry rot or wear to speak of yet. But they are the only things that connect you to the rest of the planet while riding.
