A brass drift has zero chance of damaging anything. But a hack that doesn't know how to use tools - well that's a different story.
And that's yet another reason I don't like those sights - fragile vials. If a drift can damage them, what else can? That and they are bulky vs the Pros.

So Bob.... ya calling me a hack?! An old ex-mechanic who used to fix cars for a living?? Who is happier than hell he is not doing that today?? A guy who once forgot to torque the lug nuts on the brand new mag wheels I put on wifey's care...that came off on the highway when she was 8 months pregnant?? Ya calling me a hack?! Have a memorial service today for a Vietnam Vet. Will be heading to Post in a bit to get things around then travel about 20 miles to the cemetery. Boy I hate these things. But....it is the most honorable thing we can do for a Veteran. I hate the sadness involved with the family. But feel so honored and proud when we present the flag to the wife, son/daughter/next of kin. I look them in the eye and speak from my heart.
But....it's gonna be cold!!! Glad we have winter jackets! Hope you all have a great day. Be careful out there. The crazies are out in force!!! Lurker out....vv
