The stock SG suspension has done me no wrong. What's the big deal?

I'm ignoring the fact it's just sitting in a box on a shelf.

@nevada72
Bob, Given that all you stated makes good logical sense.... it would seem to me that there is harsh ride risk in purchasing the HD springs.
Yes, one would use less travel in getting the correct sag factor with the HD spring, but the shock is still sprung for a heavier load overall.
We know your riding style is much more aggressive and demanding of the bike. We know a big hole/ bump is still a big hole/bump, but I plod along like an old fart. A factor ? Maybe.
My paranoia comes in with disc damage at L4 and L5 from a wreck years ago. It's been pretty stable thankfully -

13" on Bob's recommendation. Made the ride more stiff but far more comfortable and the taller shock improved the steering response more than I expected it would. I can do full lock turns anymore and ride forever.

Toof cleaning completed.

I put JRI 13” shocks on the RK, loved them. About three years ago, I was going to change them out for some prepped Ohlins but Howard pissed me off and I told him where he put them.
