Mick, I’ve been giving some thought to all these wonder shocks I see advertised . People claiming they transform your riding experience into nirvana. The problem I have is my load-out can change drastically from ride to ride. One day I’m solo with no gear, the next I’m two- up with tons of luggage the next solo with gear , so on and so on. I found the stock adjustable coil shocks to give a slightly better ride than the air shocks but I’m sure it could be better yet. The aftermarket shocks that claim to improve the ride greatly are not simple to re-adjust for changing loads. Hence my hesitation to dump a lot of money on them.

Halito Woods. Damn..... wish I wasn't so old that I could stay up with you guys....lots of activity last nite. And y'all are up and at it again this morning. I'm beginning to think I'm just too damned old to be hangin' with y'all.
No snow last night. Temps in the mid 20's. I didn't get sent to band camp. I still have access. Wifey is speaking to me. Dog is at my feet. So I guess I'm ok here! Keep up the arguments going....me and my brother always argued. Have a great day....be careful out there. And don't do anything stupid!!! Lurker out.....

I think Howard sold those for a while until he pissed them off. I've heard good things about the Bitubos. I ride with another HDF guy once in awhile, CampieRoadie formerly known as Nomadmax. He has them on his Dyna and that dude knows his way around motorcycles. Helluva good rider.

The Progressive 444s had enough preload adjustment to compensate between those two worlds. The key is to get the heaviest spring for your weight so you don't have to dial in much preload solo. Then when you're two up and loaded 6 or 7 turns on the preload will level things out nicely.

But personally, I would try Supershox next. I've heard good things and they have a 30 day trial period so you can return them if it doesn't work out.

Morning Woods ! Lazy morning after a busy yesterday chasing Tammy around furniture and grocery stores. 3/4 of our gang will be here for Christmas this week.
Speaking of Her Majesty, I gotta go make brunch for us in a minute........
