I'll be taking the wheels off the Road Glide during my winter break 'tween X-Mas and New Years for tire swap.

Dunlop American Elites. They seem to be the consensus pick among touring types. I know others are advocated for, but these seem to get more props than others.

Evening gents! Been a busyass day. Lots of homewerk. But we're making very good progress and we're happy with the results. It will look awesome for whomever buys the house. Isn't that the way it is - we live with it until it's time to sell? That's how it's been for me anyway. Anyway, we are rewarding ourselves with margaritas and pulled pork tacos.

@NoRegerts - Just to make you feel better -

Here's parr of my backyard. Yes, that's a dismantled refrigerator laying on my lawn. And lots of construction debris.

Read up on those bearings Chuck. The QC has been really sketchy on oem Chines bullshit bearings. I bought All ***** for my Street glide but never got around to installing them because the oem ones were fine in my case. But there seems to be an unusually high rate of bearings that have little to no grease. Anyway, if 2014 bearings fit your bike, you're welcome to mine. I would be happy to send them down.

Me too!! Wasn't a fan of the old Dunlop D408 or whatever. But the American Elite gave me almost 20k miles on the rear and 24k on front. I'll stick with those for a bit longer!!!

That's what I ran. I like Dunlops across the board. Had AEs on the Street Glide and RSIIIs on the Yamaha. When the Michelins wear out on the BMW I'll replace with RSIVs.
