Yup, we watched the same video & tried but seems like the cable isn't pulling through the casing.

Mark, have you tried pulling more cable out where it is clamped at the brake?

Well Woods, words of wisdom. "Fixing" the bike by rocking the bars forward so it's more comfortable for me to ride, with the excuse that, "I thought you'd give it up and I have a new bike." Don't, DO NOT do that.

But seriously, she was hands on in removing the brake lever so I could bend it back. I have paint so I can sand and repaint the mirror and rear brake lever. I told her not to worry about the muffler, we're throwing that **** away when the time comes to make the bike louder.

Yeah, as best as I could. Hope its poor technique...not sure how to explain Santa brought him a broken bike. Maybe I'll say "they all do that"

Yup, it never seems to pull the slack from the housing, but again it was a cripple & his wife trying.
