Mick, thank you for attending that ride. A fantastic way to show our respect to the Fallen. My respect to you as well as the service members and all others in attendance.

I got home today to a freshly paved driveway and whatever you call the area between my house and shoppe. I also got my heated grips installed. A horrible job indeed! Yeah yeah Russ, lipstick on a pig.

Nice looking drive and grips.
Why were the grips such a pain?
Does the branch of the drive that goes left go to the through street?

Nice drive and grips Chris.
Tammy and I always wanted to get back out to the country. We're both farm kids. We never made it.
Carry on !

You'll have about a year left, right? Would that 20% take from savings, or just less money saved? Might be one way to look at it.

I've actually bought a motorcycle for less than heated grips cost. And two cars! The $3000 in parts my Tour Glide needed is probably $4000 now. Probably $8000 before Biden is gone. I'd just part it out before paying that. Might get more than I paid for it...

Chris, since the Minny city council got shot down on closing the police department, they're instituting a new group to handle domestic calls that might involve mental issues. The 911 operators would determine if they're mental issues and dispatch two of these folks instead of police. No guns, of course.

Think all these ladies have a chance of getting through a year intact? Will the social diversity here will make a difference to angry people wanting to hurt somebody?

Pavement is going to be nice when it rains. Or did it get muddy? Nice anyway.
