I never had a problem keeping up riding with others, and more often than not was going slower than I wanted to. Have had a couple riding buddies that were pretty evenly matched. Then I tried to keep up with Greg on the WS18 run, and can no longer say I never had a problem keeping up.

There was one stretch where I didn't get too far behind, Greg must have been enjoying the sights on this stretch.
Audrey was hanging on too tight to take photos in the twisties.

Bob, you're certainly no slouch in the twisties. Riding with you guys was the most fun I think I've ever had, certainly on a bike.
I usually prefer solo, but even though I'd previously riden some of the roads we rode in Arkansas in 2019, I enjoyed it more with the Woods. And Bob was leading, yes, no slouch.

Mike , you would do fine on better equipment. A sportster is no touring bike.

Halito Woods....Toaks... Lurkers..... one to two inches of light fluffy snow this morning. Will head out later and blow/sweep/shovel some snow before DIL drops grandson off. Chris, I got an almost black bike and arranged payment so I don't owe anything to anybody. Does that mean I gots no credit too? Or does that make me raciest?? Inquiring minds....
Chuck, I can feel your pain from here. I hate the back, neck, shoulder pains. I'm finally subsiding from my back issues. Now I just make sure I act like an old man and take it slow and easy and not push myself. And good luck golfin'.... I gots some left handed clubs that haven't been used in years. And I toured on my Sporty and had a blast. I miss that bike!!! But I love my Street Glide too!
Oh well.... Lurker out.....
