Hi Bill.
Think I've spent too much time outside lately, bad cough two days ago, congested head this morning, so of course I was outside about another hour today. Think I'm getting a cold again. Neighbor needed help, took longer than expected, but looks like real winter weather starts this weekend, so I can rest up in the house. She and husband would do the same for me, and he's out of town. Wasn't that cold out, but was windy, that can be worse than lower temps.

Evening all. I had a nice day and now it is home happy hour (or two). The squirrel relocation count is at 12. Number 12 was a strange one. It was a young female. The little cage trap is about 18" long and 8x8 square. I use the bottom portion of a small water bottle as the bait bowl. I put a couple of peanuts and some corn kernels in it and place it at the very back of the cage behind the lever trip plate. The squirrel walks up on the lever plate and the door on the other in shuts. Somehow the bowl was outside the cage. I will never figure out how got the bowl, took it out of the cage and then went back in a tripped the door. One of life's mysteries.

thats easy...the squirrel dragged out the bowl didn't shut the gate.,ate, then went in to find more food; Closing the gate, or springing the door...whichever.....

Get a 5/16-18 oval head screw for that.
