TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
They always look good in pictures.
The problem with black is it shows everything. I think after doing mine after watching a few videos, they always use black as a test and show panel and trying to do black by hand is a lost cause because you can't generate enough heat to get the polishes to work properly. That's where the swirls and haze come from.

Is the Groits orbital tool actually an orbital, or simply spins like a typical polisher? I'm going to go for it with a kit like yours.
I'm pretty beat; Moderna Booster shot today making me crabby. We lost a healthy, fairly fit, 46 yr old local banker to Covid a week ago. Go figure.
The motor still spinning but the pad stops its orbital action. The "8" in the model number is how much throw the pad has in MM.
OK. I thought as much. My polisher is a straight rotary. I liked your kit, and it showed results for you and Mr. Blue. I always get "too good" a deals on black bikes.......lol. My last one (if there is another) will have color.
Watch a couple of their videos.
I hate sounding like an advertiser for them, so you could also look at the detailing section and get some other ideas. There are likely better products out there.
But I got the results I was after relatively easily, so I'm a convert.
