TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Mornin, Denny and Greg. A little sympathy for Jeff and Chuck..... https://www.foxweather.com/weather-n...rida-on-monday
Halito Woods. Stan, I bought a set up like this a few years ago.... I have the 6" and 3" orbital polishers. A bit of overkill for my needs, but I got "sucked" in by my want for tools!! Check out the Griot website....they have numerous videos on all their products and how to use. I find their synthetic clay pad works well on vehicles that have been driven for a while. Use their polishes, cleaners, wax, soaps.....they have my vote!!! Eaglefan may disagree with me, but it works for me.
Snow this morning.... news said 3", but looks like just a good coating at my place. Shouldn't take much to clean walks and drive. Y'all be careful out there....no slipping and sliding! Lurker out.....

Griot's stuff seems to be pretty good for the results I'm after. I did use the synthetic clay pad to clean the surfaces first, then the stuff that came in the kit. This brought the paint back to life. Amazing.
I'm not after show quality results, but I can see how people can get sucked into it.
For guys like Eaglefan that do it for a living and are after show winning results, there may be better products out there, but for me, Griot's is plenty good enough.
Morning Mick, Al and Greg. Should be a chamber of commerce day today and a good one for riding. Think I’m gonna go….that way.
Mornin, Russ. Another unseasonably warm day on tap here to close out November. When are you heading down to The Sisters?
Bike looks great! That new Sante Fe is a really good looking SUV.
