TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Nice Russ. By law all new construction here has to have solar panels. No choice. Also wood burning stoves are not allowed. After talking with firefighters. They are hesitant to hose down a house with solar panels because of the risk of electrocution. Best to install them on a carport or annex.

Seems to me these solar panels didn't do much good for some Texans last year during their snow storm. If I understand correctly, you need to have a large number of sunny days for these to work well. Of course I could be wrong.
My neighbor just had a panel system removed. I think he was the only one among the 37 homes here that had them. They ruined his roof. He got rid of the panels and replaced/repaired his roof. i am sure the experiment was not cheap in the long run.
As many people found out, unless you store the energy produced they are worthless in a power loss situation and believe me, we have adequate number of sunny days!
Nope, meter is in the house. #1 son didn't drain the underground water line out to his pool house last year. YEP, YOU GUESSED IT.....$500 WATER BILL !

Why doesn't California just annex itself away from the US. The Constitution, clearly, does not apply there. Unless not from the US. Then it applies.
..... and really thick Rubber Gloves ?
Cows dont fart. They are ruminant animals. The methane produced actually comes from burping. Now you know.
