Hey Russ.
On the new bike, can you shut off the “shortest distance”, “quickest way” or any of that crap? There isn’t an option on mine. But I remember having 4-5 different options.

Yes you can. Might be time to update your software? Maybe?

Tried checking the "owners manual" for the radio/gps and I can't quite see if you can change on the fly. It looks like you can change settings, but not sure if you can while running.
Well I’ve been searching my shop manual for the output specs. Can’t find any. Only that the wire to the ( media compartment) comes off the back of the radio. Maybe Mick could ferret it out, I’ll text him a photo of the wiring schematic.
Greg,
Russ provided the answer on how to test, but I rarely plugged my iphone into that usb. Infotainment didn't always play well with the phone and did glitchy things with the music, so I just plugged into the cigarette lighter using a usb adapter. I found that to be the most reliable method for charging. And that way I didn't have the glove box door open while riding, which bugged me. Whenever I did have charging issues it was the cord.

Better, but for some reason my balance is all messed up. If I’m not careful when I stand up, I’ll fall back down . No , I haven’t been over served.
