Bob, I’ve been following your step-son challenges and can relate to the madness. One thing that kills me about the boy living here, other than the the loss of privacy of course is what a pig this person is. We’ve had to start from scratch with him, everything from when to wash his sheets to how (and when) to clean a toilet.

Yesterday, we put a brand new tablecloth on the dining room table where 7 people gathered. The only mess on the new tablecloth was right where he was sitting. Oh well, he travels to Chicago next week for some kind of event so we’ll have the house to ourselves to clean up for a few days.

I missed an opportunity to use the word 'confluence' in my post. I am hoping Bob doesn't think less of me.....then again, how could he?

Mornin, Stan. As a true farm boy I knew you would see the relevance....new semi automatic rifle v. seed pods. No contest.

Halito Woods..... boy you guys are pretty active right now!!! Must be a special day, eh?? Son and his family coming over today for dinner...they had in-laws T'Day yesterday. Today is our turn. So another day of Basketball and food. My Sparty's are playing championship game today at noon for the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. So I'm planning another day of relaxation and games!!
Hope you all have a great Black Friday. Personally I won't be going out unless it's to the beer store. Have a good one and be careful!! Lurker out....

Oh yes, I can relate to taht all too well. It's not that they are bad kids. It's that they are so different than we were at that age. But my life has become less angry since I stopped giving a **** about his bedroom and bathroom. I just accepted it. But come next week, his room gets new carpet (Again. It was put in new 6 years ago but it's gross now), paint, and closet doors. Then Cheryl and I take it over while we work on our bedroom. So if he wants to come back, he gets the couch.
