TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
G'Evening, Woods.....We've had Thanksgiving and all other holidays here for almost 40 yrs. A few years ago, my daughter took it over and we go to her house. This year was going to be something different , it was going to be celebrated at my son in laws "pole barn". I would be thrilled to live in the "cabin section" in the back of his pole barn. Would have been a great time since he put in a trapshooting range , skeet range ,pistol range and rifle range. Unfortunately, everything was cancelled since my 11 y/o g'son tested positive for COVID last week. Fortunately, his symptoms were a slight fever one day, sore throat and slight loss of taste. He was pissed because he missed the first day of bear hunting season this week.

Boy Chris, your investigative skills are endless.... I would hate to have to arrest that big fella!!! Good luck with that!
Al..... we've had Thanksgiving and Christmas here for the past 35+ years. Don't thing wifey would have it any other way.
I grew up having Christmas Eve at my grandparents home, with all the aunts, uncles and cousins. My kids grew up having Christmas Eve at my parents home with my brother, sister and families there. Now we do the same here. Christmas Eve is here with kids and grandkids. Turkey day is a given here....wifey slaves away, complains about "little help", but would not do it any other way. Hope your grandson is getting over this crap. Enjoy your holiday!!!

Supply chain issues? What supply chain issues? Ordered a bunch of stuff from DK Customs on Monday and it got here today. Wow.
Evening gents! And happy Thanksgivings Day eve! Traditionally this has been a drunkfest for my friends and I, but life interrupts. I was getting sick of being hung over on T-day anyway.
Agreed! Cheers!
Really cool Chris. You are the quintessential Renaissance man. Whenever I think I cover a lot of ground guys like you come along and show me pics of you casting dinosaur footprints. I can't compete with that!
Is that like a good deed doer?

Have you forgotten you are posting in the TOAK?
I would not make that mistake Mick.
Hate to be the Negative Nancy but did someone create a concrete (stone look-alike) dinosaur footprint a few years ago in the creek bottom and now it's weathered to a point it looks like the real thing ?
