It's a sensitivity adjustment. Might have to play with it. They are working on facial recognition so it won't go off when you go outside.

Can you shut the alert off with your phone and still have the light work?

Yes you can. The wife turned the alert off on her phone because of all the cat allerts. I keep mine on. You also have 2 way communication and an alarm if you see someone in your yard.

You can turn the light on with your phone or just look with the night vision.

Great, thanks.....son and SIL have these crazy alarm systems that you can control everything in the house. Way too complicated with setting alarms, etc for my wife. Do they have record functions?

Yes. Records any motion and records every time you activate it to take a look.

Going to seriously look into getting one. I never had a lock on Garoffice door until the scumbags moved in a few years ago. Since they left, I've never locked the man door. Other garages have a door bell button on door jamb to open them....never been any problems in our town but things are changing.

Interesting stuff, Lou. I will have to show my wife this topic. She has been the one pushing for it as she works from home most of the time.
