Had the two youngest grandsons today, think I used up a couple days supply of energy.
Cooked the last of the pork I ground up last night, 5 lbs plain, 5 supposedly seasoned like breakfast sausage with some bacon added to the grind. Fried 4 patties as a test, and they were like eating a pork cutlet that tastes a little like sausage. Actually not bad with barbeque sauce, but I didn't make any more. The rest I put on a cookie pan and froze, then I'll put the frozen crumbles in zip lock bags, they don't make a solid frozen ball that way, can easily scoop out some to put in eggs, spaghetti, chili, whatever. The plain batch I'm making into taco meat, that will freeze solid so the bags have to be thawed first, easy enough. So far pork hasn't gone up like beef, hope it doesn't. Probably will. Wonder if I could raise chickens without the neighbors knowing...
Greg, only bike I bought hours away was that blue sportster, flew to Milwaukee and rode it home. Easy, was able to do that in one day. Knew real quick the stock seat and drag pipes had to go as soon as possible.

Hey, Mike.
It was a fun adventure. I knew going in the weather was gonna be iffy on the way back. With the trucking situation and seeing a couple horror stories about having a vehicle transported, particularly jamala00's, I decided on a path and took it.

Who's bitching? I love it!
Did you get a power vision for yours?

RoadGlideGreg, I think you made a good choice bringing her home the way you did, despite the weather. I believe I speak for everyone when I say, we found your adventure entertaining and I am stoked for you.
Thanks, Chris!
I have to say I there were a few moments yesterday when I was questioning my wisdom.

For the RK not for the Ultra.
Evenin Woods, made it to my winter home, 675 miles,12 hours on the road.
Many idiots on the road, got passed by three Germain sedans racing each other, doing triple digits, nearly *** packed multiple cars weaving in and out of lanes.
