Russ, #1 son works for Duke Energy (Wind Power) with wind farms in TX and claims there are only (4) Portals or Link Points for High Energy transmission to be directed into the state of Texas. He also opined that to successfully provide "outside" emergency power to Texas, the number of transmission portals would need to increase dramatically. Also mentioned that the lack of portals was due to some political issues, and that local politicians had blamed wind energy for the lack of power. Does this sound familiar ?
Morning Stan. Sounds like being more self-sufficient in this state for power is a more appealing venture than I had once considered.

Could you imagine this happening here, we'd have another round of race riots. Despite that, not sure I think it's entirely a bad idea...
